Student Program

The Student Program will focus on “Educational Courses” prior to the conference and “the special student poster session” on Tuesday  April 20, 2010.  Details will soon be announced here. For more information, please contact Prof.Dr. Eyyüp Yakıncı.

There are two important aspects of student program prior and/or during the conference ICSM2010.

First, an opportunity for potential students to share their work with active professional researchers in the field; an occasion not just for intellectual enrichment, but also for making advantageous contacts with potential future employers.

Second, the conference platform will be a unique opportunity to gain information, training and experience in  your skilled field from the world class best established scientists and experts. We hope that with an experience before the conference you will be able to follow high level presentations at the conference and benefit more for your career.

To participate, students must follow these links in order to:

    – Register for ICSM2010;
    – Submit an abstract for Spring School if not for the conference;
    – Apply for the special student poster session and also apply for travel grants (only Turkish Students) and registration fee subsidies (All Students with presentation).

The deadline for applications will soon be announced here.

We look forward to welcoming you in Antalya, not just only for your scientific career, but there will also be a leisure opportunity  in the social program beyond a superb conference, a spring school and educational courses.

Proceedings

Submitted papers-Proceedings of ICSM2010 will be peer-reviewed. Reviews will be conducted by expert referees at professional level and with the scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal issue to be published by “Journal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism” as a single/special issue.

We believe that this upcoming conference, with the expanded topics and wide range of sessions, will  provide a forum where the many matters of interest to the superconductivity and magnetism community will be debated. We are of the opinion that the conference will constitute a greater success with a larger attendee in bridging the gap between the best established scientists, engineers, exhibitors and participants from all countries and communities underrepresented in science and technology.

Turkey from wikipedia:

Turkey is a democratic, secular, unitary, constitutional republic whose political system was established in 1923 under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, following the fall of the Ottoman Empire in the aftermath of World War I. Since then, Turkey has become increasingly integrated with the West through membership in organizations such as the Council of Europe, NATO, OECD, OSCE and the G-20 major economies. Turkey began full membership negotiations with the European Union in 2005, having been an associate member of the EEC since 1963, and having reached a customs union agreement in 1995. Meanwhile, as a Muslim-majority country,Turkey has continued to foster close cultural, political, economic and industrial relations with the Eastern world, particularly with the states of the Middle East and Central Asia, through membership in organizations such as the OIC and ECO. Turkey is classified as a developed country by the CIA and as a regional power by political scientists and economists worldwide.
